School raises more than $2,000 for charity

CAIRO, N.Y. >> Cairo-Durham Middle School raised $2,095 for the American Heart Association during a fundraiser hosted by the Physical Education Department.

Students could donate money by buying extra physical education classes prior to the day of the event on Friday, Dec. 21. The students played mat ball, basketball, pin knock-down, asteroids, scooter tag and other games throughout the day.
