Woodstock Jewish Congregation to host film program
WOODSTOCK, N.Y. » Woodstock Land Conservancy, Woodstock NY Transition, Woodstock Jewish Congregation and Saint Gregory’s Episcopal Church will present “How the Lifecycle of Food Impacts Climate Change And What We Can Do About It,” a film and discussion series at the Woodstock Jewish Congregation, 1682 Glasco Turnpike.
The monthly program, presented the last Monday of the month through April will feature a film, presentation and discussion that will focus on topics including regenerative agriculture, plant-rich diet, food waste and composting.
Discussion about working together locally to make choices that lessen our impacts is welcomed.
The first in the four-part program will be held on Jan. 28 and will feature the film “Sustainable,” a film about the land, the people who work it, and what must be done to sustain it for future generations.
The series is free and open to all ages. Donations are welcome.
