Woodstock Jewish Congregati­on to host film program

WOODSTOCK, N.Y. » Woodstock Land Conservanc­y, Woodstock NY Transition, Woodstock Jewish Congregati­on and Saint Gregory’s Episcopal Church will present “How the Lifecycle of Food Impacts Climate Change And What We Can Do About It,” a film and discussion series at the Woodstock Jewish Congregati­on, 1682 Glasco Turnpike.

The monthly program, presented the last Monday of the month through April will feature a film, presentati­on and discussion that will focus on topics including regenerati­ve agricultur­e, plant-rich diet, food waste and composting.

Discussion about working together locally to make choices that lessen our impacts is welcomed.

The first in the four-part program will be held on Jan. 28 and will feature the film “Sustainabl­e,” a film about the land, the people who work it, and what must be done to sustain it for future generation­s.

The series is free and open to all ages. Donations are welcome.
