The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Hyde Park

• Drugs: An 18-year-old Poughkeepsie man was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 8:38 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, on state Route 9G and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released with tickets for Hyde Park Town Court. State police do not release the names of suspects under age 19.

Lloyd

• Weapon/assault: A 16-year-old boy was arrested by state police at Highland at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Highland Residential Center, 629 North Chodikee Lake Road, and was charged with possession of a weapon and assault, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court. State police do not release the names of suspects under age 19. Further information was unavailable.

Red Hook

• DWI: Samuel G. Exline, 24, of Tivoli, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 1:09 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, on U.S. Route 9 in the town of Red Hook and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with the infraction of no or inadequate plate lamp. Exline was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• DWI: Jovito Pagkalinawan, 46, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:31 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, on state Route 28 and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with the infractions of failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle and speeding. Pagkalinawan was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
