United Way to nominate inspiring women

The United Way of Ulster County’s women’s mentoring program, “Raising HOPE,” is seeking nominations of Ulster County women who have had a significant impact on the lives of other women.

Those who are nominated may have mentored another woman by providing advice and guidance, inspired other women to reach their full potential, or been a role model to other women.

A special committee of women reviews all nominations, and those women chosen to be recognized, are honored at the Raising HOPE Celebration in on June 6.

The Raising HOPE Celebration is in its seventh year of honoring a select group of supportive and influential women. The event is particularly compelling as awards are presented by the women having made the nominations, telling their stories of hope and resilience.
