Cornell Co-op offering gardening classes

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s Master Gardeners will offer 16 classes during the 20th annual Spring Garden Day on Apr. 13.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at SUNY Ulster. Among the available classes are Beginner’s Vegetable Garden: How to Get Started, Solutions to Garden Headaches, Adapt Your Garden for Climate Change, Organic Heirloom Gardening, and Achieving Color in the Garden All Season Long.

There will also be three different demo classes on Terrariums, Making Your Own Natural Dyes, and Designing with Succulents.

Pre-registration is highly recommended. For the class list and registration form, visit https://tinyurl.com/gardenday2019. The cost for the day is $50 in advance and $55 at the door. A catered lunch is available and must be purchased upon registering or participants can bring their own.
