‘Pull the Plane’ event will aid United Way

On Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., teams of 20 people will compete in the first Pull the Plane fundraiser at New York Stewart International Airport.

Presented by United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region, the event supports United Way’s work in the area.

To register, visit www. uwdor.org/pulltheplane. The $20 registration fee counts toward the $200 minimum fundraising goal.

Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraiser and top team fundraiser, as well as for the team that pulls the FedEx Express Boeing 757 the fastest 12 feet along a runway.

Each participant will receive a limited-edition event T-shirt, food ticket and a goodie bag.
