United Way sponsors free health screening

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. » A free community health screening will be offered from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, June 21, at the Family Partnership Center, 29 N. Hamilton St.

The screening is sponsored by the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region, in partnership with HRH Care Community Health and the New York State Department of Health.

The screening allows residents to start taking control of their health and be a role model for the next generation by undergoing routine health tests.

Free child care will be provided and there will be a number of giveaways, including gift cards, goodie bags, refreshments, and a drawing for a bicycle and bicycle helmets.

Free Narcan kits will also be distributed on a firstcome, first-served basis.
