The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
Catskill
• DWI: Thomas E. Murphy, 47, of Palenville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:50 p.m. Friday, June 28 at state Routes 23A and 32 and was charged with drunken driving, driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and aggravated driving without a license, all misdemeanors. Further information was unavailable.
• DWI: Jason S. Patti, 24, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:32 a.m. Saturday, June 29, on state Route 23A and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets to appear in Catskill Town Court.
Coxsackie
• Assault: Tara M. Drobner, 28, of Climax, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:20 a.m. Friday, June 28, on county Route 26 and was charged with assault causing injury to a child less than 7 years old, a felony, and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 years old, a misdemeanor. She was arraigned and released pending a further court appearance.
Milan
• Drugs/weapon: Jose M. Bermudez, 26, of Jacksonville, N.C., was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 4:15 p.m. Friday, June 28, at mile marker 68.7 north on the Taconic State Parkway, and was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), all felonies. He was also charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia (scales), a misdemeanor; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; and six traffic infractions. Bermudez was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Saugerties
• Drugs: Jesse Larsen, 20, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties Police on Friday, June 28, on Blue Mountain Road and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and a traffic violation. He was released with tickets to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
