Accord
• Strangulation: Robert Freer, 49, of Accord, was charged Sunday, July 21 at about 4:45 p.m. with strangulation, a felony, according to state police at Wawarsing.
Athens
• DWI: Aleem O. Hamil, 32, of Sleepy Hollow, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, according to state police at Coxsackie. Hamil was arrested on state Route 385 in Athens and issued an appearance ticket, police said.
Catskill
• Drugs: Netta Fallon, 28, of Hudson, was charged Sunday, July 21, at about 11:12 p.m. with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, having a controlled substance in a non-original container, and unlawful possession of marijuana, violations, according to state police at Coxsackie. Fallon was arrested on state Route 23 in Catskill and issued an appearance ticket, police said.
Coxsackie
• Contraband: Curry Ladena, 35, of Syracuse, was charged Sunday, July 21 at about 11:03 a.m. introducing contraband into prison and criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanors, according to state police at Coxsackie.
New Paltz
• Drugs: Jarrett D. Honold, 23, of Gardiner, Sean C. Cransie, 22, of Highland, and an unidentified 18-yearold New Paltz female, were arrested about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 21 on Main Street in New Paltz, according to state police at Highland. Honold was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana, misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said. The other suspects were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said. All three were issued appearance tickets, police said.
