City of Kingston

•DWI: Dennis J. Hartman, 61, of Port Ewen, was arrested by state police at Highland at 8:28 a.m. Monday, July 22 on Frank Koenig Boulevard and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08 percent. Hartman was released with an appearance ticket for

Kingston City Court.

Clermont

• Weapons possession: Joseph S. Hansen, 58, of Elizaville, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 7:19 p.m. Monday, July 22 and was charged with felony weapons possession, previous conviction and the misdemeanors of assault, menacing, unlawful imprisonment and criminal mischief following a domestic dispute. Further information was unavailable.

Lloyd

• DWAI/drugs: Corie L. Herrmann, 33, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by the Lloyd Police Department Sunday, July 21 and was charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance after she was pulled over for a traffic stop on state Route 44/state 55 in the Highland hamlet. She was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

•DWI: Christopher M. Walman, 46, of Esopus, was arrested by the Lloyd Police Department Friday, July 12 and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving after he was pulled over for traffic violations on U.S. Route 9 in the Highland hamlet. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

• Bail jumping: Kyle A. Velders, 23, of Staatsburg, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:13 p.m. Monday, July 22 on state Route 299 and was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping. Velders was released on his own recognizance.

Milan

• Drugs: Ashley L. Prusakowski, 31, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 1:29 p.m. Monday, July 22 at the intersection of the Taconic State Parkway and state Route 199 and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with the violation of unlawful marijuana possession. Prusakowski was also issued a speeding ticket and a traffic ticket for no license. Prusakowski was released with an appearance ticket for Milan Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• DWAI drugs/drugs: Matthew C. VanNostrand, 27, of Mount Tremper, was arrested by Ulster Town Police at 12:30 a.m. Friday and was charged with the misdemeanors of driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police found him to driving under the influence of and in possession of a quantity of heroin during a traffic stop. He was additionally issued a traffic ticket for operating an uninspected motor vehicle. Authorities said they also wanted VanNostrand on a bench warrant stemming from a previous conviction. VanNostrand was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court and was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

•DWI: Eddie Saavedra, 74, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster Town Police Monday at 12:11 a.m. and was charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08 percent following a traffic stop on Morton Boulevard. Police said they determined that Saavedra was intoxicated. Authorities also charge him with the traffic infractions of consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and moving from lane unsafely and issued him a number of traffic tickets. Saavedra was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
