City of Kingston
• DWI: Shubham Mondal, 23, of South Windsor, Conn., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:23 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, on North Front Street and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was also ticketed for unsafe tires and crossing road hazard markings, both infractions. He was released with tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.
Cairo
• Burglary: Steven A. Jostlin, 28, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, on McLaren Road Extension and was charged with burglary, a felony. He was released pending an appearance in Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• DWI: Katelyn J. Carroll, 26, of West Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, on state Route 32 in the town of Catskill and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Esopus
• Menacing: Keith J. Ford, 68, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, on Catherine Lane and was charged with menacing with a weapon and criminal impersonation, both misdemeanors. He was released pending an appearance in Esopus Town Court.
Lloyd
• Drugs: Michael J. Rosenblatt, 57, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at U.S. Routes 9W and state Route 299 and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana (less than two ounces), a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Lloyd Town Court.
Marbletown
• DWAI-drugs: Hillary R. Grabinski, 27, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 3:35 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, on U.S. Route 209 and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and with inadequate muffler, an infraction. She was released with tickets to appear in Marbletown Town Court.
Marlborough
• DWI: James E. Cundiff, 34, of Walden, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:51 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, on Plattekill Road and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent. He was released with tickets to appear in Marlborough Town Court.
New Paltz
• DWI: Noelle R. Winnis, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:52 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, on state Route 32 in the town of New Paltz and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was released with an appearance ticket for New Paltz Town Court.
• DWI: Abel A. Perez, 25, of Wappingers Falls, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, on Main Street in the town of New Paltz, and was charged with drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years), a felony, and refusal to take a breath test, an infraction. He was released pending an appearance in New Paltz Town Court.
Plattekill
• Forgery: Veronica Jantzen, 74, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:07 p.m. friday, Aug. 9, and was charged with forgery, a felony, stemming from a complaint June 19, 2019. She was issued an appearance ticket for Plattekill Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
Saugerties
• DWI: Nicholas D. Story, 21, of Palenville, was arrested by Saugerties police at 12:05 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, on Harry Wells Road and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol level at or greater than 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
• DWI: Robert A. Kovacs, 30, of West Shokan, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at West Bridge and Montgomery streets and was charged with drunken driving, aggravated drunken driving, and aggravated driving without a license, all misdemeanors. He was also ticketed for having substandard lights, no license, following too closely and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, all infractions. He was released with tickets to appear in Saugerties Village Court.
Wawarsing
• Contempt: Jessica Pritchard, 23, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, and was charged with criminal contempt (disobeying court order) a misdemeanor. she was released on $500 cash bail pending an appearance in Wawarsing Town Court.
