Kingston wins fourth straight meet

Kingston High made it four wins in a row in girls swimming and diving Thursday with a 107-67 victory over Roosevelt in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association meet.

Ellie Meyer led the Tigers with wins in the 200yard freestyle (2:08.76) and 100 butterfly (1:05.52). Also with individual wins for Kingston were Caroline Steeves (500 free), Isabella Amaro (backstroke), Jeanine Ohene Agyei (50 free), Emily McCord (100 free) and Kalie Boye (diving).

Amaro, McCord, Ohene Agyei teamed with Emily Constance to take the medley relay, while Ohene Agyei, McCord, Meyer and Angie Vertullo took the 200 free relay.

Kingston, which defeated Marlboro and Highland on Tuesday, is now 8-2 on the season. The Tigers have their last home meet of the year on Wednesday, Oct. 16, against Newburgh Free Academy.
