Hulu shoot will limit driving, parking
KINGSTON, N.Y. >> Several Uptown streets will be closed and on-street parking will be restricted for parts of three days next week due to the filming of scenes for a horror series that will be streamed by Hulu, the Kingston Police Department said Friday.
The series, being produced by Daylight Daycare Inc., is based on the Nathan Ballingrud anthology series “North American Lake Monsters.”
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, there will be no parking on North Front Street, between Wall and Crown streets, from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, North Front Street will be
closed to traffic between Wall and Crown streets from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; John Street will be closed to traffic between Fair Street and Clinton Avenue from noon to 7 p.m.; and North Front Street will be closed to traffic between Clinton Avenue and Fair Street from noon to 7 p.m.
Also on Nov. 13, there will be no parking from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on North Front Street, between Wall and Crown streets; on Wall Street, between John and North Front streets; at meters 408, 409, 410, 411 and 412 on John Street, between Wall Street and Clinton Avenue; and at meters 250, 251, 252 and 253 on Fair Street, between North Front and John streets.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, Wall Street will be closed to traffic between John and North Front streets from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Also on Nov. 14, there will be no parking between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wall Street, between John and North Front streets; at meters 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 411 and 412 on John Street, between Crown and Fair streets; and at meters 250, 251, 252 and 253 on Fair Street, between North Front and John streets.
The production company plans to make the filming area look like New Orleans for the shoot, the police department said.
“We understand that filming can be somewhat disruptive, and we appreciate your cooperation,” the company said in a prepared statement. “If you have special needs, such as deliveries, moving, traveling or construction, please contact the Locations Department” at (845) 303-6706 or (917) 920-2533.
