Section 9field hockey coaches announced their 2019All-Star teams, with six area players earning All-State honors.

KINGSTON, N.Y. >> Section 9 field hockey coaches have announced their 2019 All-Star teams.

Taconic Hills took the top honors with Delana Bonci being named Most Valuable Player and Angela Webster winning Coach of the Year.

Six players were named as AllState:

Bonci and Titans teammate Amelia Canetto, Rondout Valley’s Julie Ruzzi, Red Hook’s Danielle Walsh, Tori Quick of Kingston and Lola Mainieri of Onteora.

Those six comprised the first team along with Rondout’s Sophia Schoonmake­r and Kara Hogan, Penelope Paldino and Jackie Povall of Pine Plains/

Rhinebeck, Kingston’s Bridgie Loughlin and Ireland Travis of Ellenville.
