Cairo
• Acting in a manner to
injure a child: William I. Willenbucher, 20, of Earlton, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, on Polly’s Rock Road and was charged with acting in a manner to injure a child under 17, a misdemeanor. Willenbucher was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
Catskill
• DWI: Vanessa M. Pinet, 28, of Hudson, and Wilfredo l. Pinet, 35, of Catskill, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:25 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, on West Main Street. Vanessa M. Pinet was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, all misdemeanors, and with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a traffic infraction. Wilfredo L. Pinet was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Both were released with appearance tickets for Catskill Village Court.
Esopus
• DWI: Betsy L. Garthwaite, 57, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:17 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Garthwaite was released with an appearance ticket for Esopus Town Court.
Lloyd
• Drugs/unlicensed operation: Andrew S. Williams, 25, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:48 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies, and criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.
• DWI/Endangering: Anthony Mendez, 25, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and was charged with aggravated drunken driving with child, a felony, and drunken driving and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors. He was also charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. Mendez was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
• DWI: Christian McKinistry, 23, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, on state Route 299 and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. McKinistry was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
