Kingston Baseball Umpires Association: Will hold its 2020 Rookie New Umpire Classic 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays Feb. 19-March 25 at Kingston High. Cost of class is $75, which includes rule books and the New York State test. 13th Annual Saugerties Boys & Girls Club Tournament: Feb. 9 at the Bowlers Club in Saugerties. Sign-in begins at 12:30 p.m. Event starts at 1. 5-person teams (men, women or mixed). Open to all bowlers, league or non-league. Entry fee: $100 per team ($20 per person). Handicap scoring (90 percent of 1100). Limited to first 20 paid team entries. 1st Prize: $500, 2nd: $250, 34d: $100, Scratch Prize: $100. First bowler to roll a 300 scratch game wins $150. Saugerties Bowlers Tournament Club: The sixth qualifying tournament club event of the season will be held Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. Please arrive by 12:30 p.m. for check in. All bowlers will use last year’s average. Regular tournaments will be bowled the last Sunday of each month thru March. All bowlers will receive points for each tournament they participate in toward the April 26 championship finals. This is a handicap tournament. Dates are subject to change based on lane availability. CYCLING
YMCA Midtown Mechanics 2020: A bike repair class offered by the YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County for ages 14-24. Program runs on eight Mondays, 6-9 p.m., from Feb. 14-April 13. Learn bike mechanics and earn your own bicycle. Each session focuses on a differerent bike component so that, by the end of the course, the bike will be completely rebuilt and ready to ride. Cost is $20. Students must commit to attend all sessions. Maximum is 10 students. There will be a pizza dinner at each class. Students receive a bike helmet, lights and lock on completion of course.
