The TrailBlazer Music Festival planned for June at Hunter Mountain has been canceled due to the pandemic.

HUNTER, N.Y. » The TrailBlazer Music Festival planned for this June at Hunter Mountain has been canceled as a result of the current coronavirus pandemic.

“We are disappointed to announce that TrailBlazer Festival will no longer be taking place this summer,” the event organizers announced Thursday on the festival website and on Facebook. “The wellbeing of our fans, artists, staff, vendors, partners and the community is always our #1 priority. Given the current factors at play, we do not see a clear path forward to producing this new festival experience for you in 2020.”

The TrailBlazer festival was to take the place of the annual Taste of Country Music Festival and, like its predecessor, feature live country music and camping. The event was to run from June 1214, and tickets went on sale in mid-December.

According to the event organizers, all guests who purchased a 2020 ticket through the TrailBlazer ticketing page will automatically be fully refunded within 30 days. More information on refunds is available online at https://trailblazerfest. com/refund.

“Now is the time to do our part to help New York, to be smart, safe, and look out for one another until we can come together again as a community,” the organizers said. “It won’t be long until we’ll be setting up our campsites and sharing our love of live country music again.”

The 2020 festival was to be headlined by Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Bryan.
