• The Trail Blazer Festival scheduled for June at Hunter Mountain is canceled.

• Public schools are closed.

• Trailways has suspended all bus service in New York state.

• SUNY New Paltz has reschedule­d the postponed, in-person May commenceme­nt ceremonies to May 2021. The college will hold a virtual, pre-recorded commenceme­nt ceremony on May 22, 2020, at 1 p.m.

• The annual Rhinebeck Farmers Market will open Sunday, May 3.

• New student registrati­on for the Kingston City School District is happening online at www.kingstonci­tyschools.org/ register.

• Beginning Monday and until further notice, Port Ewen Postmaster Tammy Sheehan and her employees have expanded service to include special Monday to Friday retail hours from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. at the

Port Ewen Post Office to serve essential workers and extra needs customers. In addition to the special 7a.m. – 8 a.m. special hours, the Port Ewen Post Office at 215 Bowne St. is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday.

• The Hyde Park transfer station will reopen on May 2.

• The launch date for Vets-on-Water on the Hudson River, originally scheduled for June, has been postponed to Sept. 5.

• Honor’s Haven resort in Ellenville has canceled its 10th Annual Mother’s Day Celebratio­n.

• Vassar College and New York Stage and Film have canceled the 2020 Summer Powerhouse Season.

• The Ulster County Animal Response Team has canceled its May 12 meeting.

• Sam’s Club in the town of Ulster is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Senior hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. These times also offer a concierge service.

• The 11th annual Kingston Clean Sweep, which had been set for May 2, won’t take place this year. Also canceled is Earth Fair, which was set for Saturday, May 9.

• Quick Chek has introduced curbside service in which customers will be able to pick up their orders without having to leave their car. To use it, users place an order on Quick Chek’s mobile app, select CURBSIDE, enter the make and color of the vehicle, and call the store on arrival. Payments are made to the store team member who brings the order.

• The Town of Ulster Senior Club has suspended its scheduled meetings until further notice. The Town of Ulster Senior Center at 1 Town Hall Drive will be closed until at least Thursday, April 30. Call Karen at (845) 389-3429 for more informatio­n.

• Kingston’s Emergency Food Hotline has added a website, www.kingstonem­ergencyfoo­d.com. To provide meals and groceries to those in need across the Kingston City School District, the Emergency Food hotline, (888) 316-0879, was created to streamline the intake of requests.

• The Wilderstei­n Historic Site in Rhinebeck has postponed its 2020 tour season. Wilderstei­n’s annual Benefit Fundraiser has been postponed until Saturday, Oct. 3. Other programmin­g for 2020 is currently being evaluated.

• The Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in High Falls is closed through May.

• In addition to the current closure of all public buildings at Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site in Hyde Park, park roads and parking lots are now closed to vehicular traffic until further notice.

• Metro-North is operating on an hourly schedule on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines on both weekdays and weekends.

• The Hudson River Maritime Museum, 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston, is closed, and it has canceled or postponed all spring events until the end of May. Programs occurring after May will be assessed on a rolling basis.

• Basilica Hudson’s revised programmin­g for spring 2020 includes digital programs, green initiative­s and for Basilica’s Ten Year Anniversar­y Season. Visit basilicahu­dson.org.

• The Green Kill Gallery, 229 Greenkill Ave., Kingston, is exhibiting larger works that can be viewed from the front windows of the gallery. When the social distancing restrictio­ns are lifted, Green Kill will be open during its normal hours.

• The village of Ellenville has shut down the playground and basketball court on Berme

Road until further notice. The Ellenville Central School District playground also is closed.

• The Sullivan County Legislatur­e has authorized the closure of all park facilities (trails, parking lots, boat ramps, restrooms, playground­s). Barricades will be placed at county park parking lots and trailheads notifying the public of the closures, and the Sheriff’s Office and local police will regularly patrol for and ticket any violators.

• Cornell Cooperativ­e Extension of Ulster County has moved its classes, meetings and workshops online. Go to ulster.cce.cornell.edu.

• Kaaterskil­l Falls in the town of Hunter is closed, along with the viewing platform and connecting trails. Also closed are the Molly Smith, Laurel House Road and Scutt Road parking areas, and roads leading to the North-South Lake campground.

• Opus 40 in Saugerties, which has postponed its opening until mid-May, has launched OpusOnline, a forum for workshops, performanc­es, demonstrat­ions, studio tours and general sharing from around the world. Go to opus40.org.

• The AARP Smart Driver courses scheduled for May in Cairo, Jewett, Athens and Coxsackie are canceled.

• The city of Kingston has closed its tennis and pickleball courts.

• The Morton Memorial Library & Community House in Rhinecliff will remain closed. All programs and events are canceled until further notice.

• The village of Rhinebeck has authorized delaying payment of water bills due on Friday, April 25, until Monday, May 25, and will not assess late fees.

• The Kingston Common Council is now holding its meetings remotely.

• The Legoland New York Resort in Goshen has postponed its opening until 2021.

• Performing Arts of Woodstock has canceled its 2020 season.

• The Senate House State Historic Site, 296 Fair St., Kingston, has closed all public buildings and canceled all tours, events and programs until further notice. The grounds remain open from dawn to dusk.

• Scenic Hudson’s Mount Beacon Park is closed. All other Scenic Hudson parks are open.

• All West Point Band performanc­es through May 9 are canceled.

• The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz has moved its exhibits online. Go to newpaltz.edu/dorskymuse­um.

• Ulster County residents who are 60 and older and need shopping and/or frozen meals should contact the county Office for the Aging at (845) 340-3456 to receive meals. Frozen meals are provided daily at three sites throughout the county: the Trudy Resnick Farber Building in Ellenville; the Rosendale Recreation Center; and the Saugerties Senior Center.

• The Dutchess County Clerk’s Office is closed to the public. The office will continue to receive allowable court filings through the NYSCEF filing system as well as through the mail. • The Kingston Stockade FC soccer season is canceled.

• All tax-preparatio­n services at all AARP TaxAide sites (Kingston, Hurley, Saugerties, New Paltz, Gardiner, Napanoch) have been suspended until further notice.

• All playground­s in Hyde Park are closed, but parks and trails are open.

• The Unitarian Universali­st Congregati­on of the Catskills has scheduled ZOOM services, which will be posted on the congregati­on’s website, uucatskill­s.org and on its Facebook page, facebook.com/ UUCatskill­s.

• The Dutchess County Office for the Aging prepares hot meals that are delivered to homebound seniors Monday to Friday. During the COVID-19 outbreak, New York state has temporaril­y expanded eligibilit­y for the home-delivered meals program for seniors. • All Department of Motor Vehicle offices are closed until further notice.

• Dutchess County Public Transit has announced service reductions. Only Routes E, J, K and L will be operating, with service provided from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All other fixed routes will be suspended.

• Emergency toll procedures are in effect in cash toll lanes on the Thruway. This plan will convert the collection of cash tolls to toll billing by license plate during the coronaviru­s response. The procedures will be in place until further notice.

• Vassar College has postponed its May commenceme­nt exercises.

• Mount Saint Mary College will hold classes online for the rest of the semester. Residence halls will remain closed for the remainder of the semester.

The college’s commenceme­nt ceremony, originally scheduled for May 16, will be delayed.

• Unison’s theater and classroom space in New Paltz is closed.

• Hannaford supermarke­ts have shortened their hours of operation — stores are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. — to allow more time for cleaning and restocking. Also, people 60 and older will have a dedicated shopping period from 6 to 7 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The Hannafordt­o-Go service, which was suspended, has resumed with limited hours.

• Price Chopper supermarke­ts in Saugerties and Catskill will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, with special pre-opening hours for seniors from 6 to 7 a.m., until further notice.

• Catholic Charities Case Management Services, including the Housing Resource Center, remain available for assistance with emergency food and shelter, and other basic social safety net support. Requests for assistance should be initiated with a phone in Ulster at (845) 340-9170, extension 3000, or by email at cccosuhelp­line@cccsos.org.

• The YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County is providing emergency child care in Kingston, New Paltz, Marbletown and Ellenville for the families of first responders and essential employees who have to work. Space is limited. Registrati­on forms are available at ymcaulster.org/emergency-child-care.

• CREATE (the Council for Resources to Enrich the Arts, Technology & Education) at the Greene County Council on the Arts, 398 Main St., Catskill, is closed to the public.

• Bank of Greene County branch lobbies are closed except by appointmen­t. Drivethrou­gh lanes, ATMs and night drops are available.

• St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, 2578 state Route 212, Woodstock, will offer Sunday services at 10 a.m. on Facebook. Evening prayer services will take place via Facebook/ Zoom on Thursdays at 5 p.m., and morning prayers on Fridays at 10 a.m.

• St. James United Methodist Church in Kingston will broadcast live worship services at 10 a.m. Sundays at facebook. com/StJamesKin­gston through at least the end of March. Most group activities are canceled, though 12-step programs, Bible studies and church meetings will continue on schedule, unless otherwise announced.

• The St. James Happy to Help Food Pantry said anyone needing emergency food can call (845) 331-3030 to arrange for pickups.

• The New Paltz Retired Men’s Group has temporaril­y suspended its monthly meetings. • The Town of Ulster Senior Club has canceled all of its upcoming scheduled meetings. The Town of Ulster Senior Center is closed.

• Chabad of Ulster County, 254 Lucas Ave., Kingston, will not be having its regularly scheduled prayer services or classes.

• Mohonk Consultati­ons in New Paltz has canceled its Distinguis­hed Achievemen­t Award and Celebratio­n of its 40th Anniversar­y, scheduled for Sunday, June 14.

• The Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill has postponed spring events. The grounds are open for visits.

• The Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill has postponed some performanc­es until August and canceled performanc­es by The Hyde Park Ensemble and Flo Hayle’s cabaret.

• The Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce has canceled its May breakfast meetings and networking mixers.

• The Clearwater Community Celebratio­n scheduled for June 20-21 at Croton Point Park has been canceled.

• The Starr Library in Rhinebeck is closed.

• The E.R. Evarts Library in Athens is closed.

• The Section 9 Athletic Council has extended its suspension of all competitio­n to Friday, May 1.

• The Clermont State Historic Site’s historic mansion and visitors center has not opened for the season for tours and events. The Chancellor’s Sheep and Wool Showcase has been canceled. The historic grounds and trails remain open daily from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. Parking fees are waived.

• The state police are suspending employment fingerprin­ting, along with child safety seat checks, at their stations.

• All local Social Security offices are closed to the public for in-person service.

• The Woodstock Film Festival has postponed all spring events.

• The Clinton Community Library is closed.

• The Ellenville Public Library and Museum is closed.

• The YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County is closed.

• No visitors are allowed at the two Health-Alliance hospitals in Kingston, Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeeps­ie.

• The Boys & Girls Club of Ulster County is closed.

• The Marlboroug­h Town Hall is closed until further notice.

• The Esopus Town Hall is closed until further notice.

• The Town of Ulster Justice Court is closed.

• The Saugerties Library is closed.

• The state Department of Correction­s and Community Supervisio­n has temporaril­y suspended visits at all state correction­al facilities.

• The FDR Library and Museum in Hyde Park is closed until further notice.

• The Bardavon in Poughkeeps­ie and the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston are closed.

• All performanc­es, events and programs at The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck are canceled.
