The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

City of Kingston

• Drugs/contempt: Eileen M. Gainor, 28, of Kingston, and Bowie D. Hall, 27, of Saugerties, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:32 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. Gainor was charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance; Hall was charged with misdemeano­r contempt of a court order. Both were released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

• Stolen property:

Christophe­r M. Rion, 30, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing

at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, in the city of Kingston and was charged with possession of stolen property (vehicle), a felony, and with fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving, both misdemeano­rs. The arrest stemmed from an Aug. 5 complaint out of the town of Rochester. Rion was held pending arraignmen­t.

Athens

• DWI: Michelle L. Joyner, 38, of Newburgh, was arrested by Thruway state police at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, and was charged with drunken driving, driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent and aggravated drunken driving, all misdemeano­rs. She was released with an appearance ticket for Athens Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Stolen property/drugs:

Raymond M. Barnett, 39, of Ballston Spa, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, and was charged with two felony counts of possession of stolen property (credit cards) and with petit larceny (three counts) and possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeano­rs. Barnett was released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.

Red Hook

• DWI: Francisco CastroMonr­oy, 33, of Red Hook, was arrested by Red Hook police at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, in the parking lot of the Hannaford supermarke­t in the town of Red Hook and was charged with aggravated drunken driving, and with two counts of drunken driving, all misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.

Wawarsing

• Contraband: Shamal S. Coles, 27, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, and was charged with possession of dangerous contraband in prison, a felony. Coles was held pending arraignmen­t. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.
