KINGSTON- Vincent R. Guido, Jr., 69, of Old Flatbush Road, died December 17, 2020, at Kingston Hospital. He was the son of Ruth (Senor) Guido and Vincent Guido, Sr. Vince graduated from Kingston High School in 1970 and Delhi State University, Delhi, N.Y. Vince was on the Board of Directors for the Catskill Mtn. Railroad, a former Town of Ulster Democratic Chairman, a Marbletown Rescue Squad EMT and Trainer, and on the National Ski Patrol for Catskill Ski Center, Andes, N.Y. Vince was the owner of Vincent Guido Constructi­on and partner with his best friend, Joseph Guido ( Andre Guido), of the Red Barn Plaza and Washboard Laundry for over 40 years. Vince worked with his wife Patty in their ice cream shop “Lickers” for 10 years, creating and making the wonderful avors and friendship­s that went along with the memories. Vince loved playing Santa for the Catskill Mtn. Railroad or entertaini­ng his friends by making his wood red pizza in his backyard. Monday Night Football was always a boy’s night out at 99 with his buddies and Friday nights at Tommy’s Place sharing stories! Vince is survived by his wife, Patricia (Bentley) Guido of Kingston; their son, Vincent Guido, III, and his wife Beth Guido of Kingston; granddaugh­ter, Juliana; grandson, Joseph; brothers, David Guido of Woodstock, Mark Guido and his wife Anne-Marie of Albany; aunts, Anna McCloskey of Kingston, Marge Bruck of Kingston; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Services will be private, arranged by Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, N.Y. A memorial mass will be held in the Summer followed by a celebratio­n of Vincent’s life.
