City of Kingston

• Contempt: Equan A. Davis, 22, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, and was charged with contempt, a felony. Davis was held pending a court appearance. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Cairo

• DWI: Michael J. Larson, 55, of Brookfield, Conn., was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:32 p.m. and by state police at Coxsackie at 10:44 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10. Larson was initially charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. When he was arrested a second time on Wednesday, he was again charged with misdemeano­r drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Larson was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.

Catskill

• Possession of a forged instrument/drugs: Zachary A. Perez, 20, of Ossining, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in the town of Catskill and was charged with possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Perez was released with tickets for

Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Drugs: Paige C. Swinehart, 27, of Cohoes, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:18 a.m. Thursday, March 11, and was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (stimulant) and misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance. Further informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.

Saugerties

• DWAI-drugs: Alisha Lamoreaux, 35, of West Hurley, was arrested by Ulster County zheriff’s deputies at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and with possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeano­rs. She was arrested after the Sheriff’s Office’s canine unit responded to a report of an erratic vehicle on state Route 28. The vehicle was eventually observed exiting the New York State Thruway in the town of Saugerties. Lamoreaux, who was accused of driving while impaired by drugs and being in possession of narcotics for which she did not have prescripti­ons, was released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs: Zachary J. Tyler, 24, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 11 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, on U.S. Route 209 near its intersecti­on with Enterprise

Drive and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, both misdemeano­rs, and with a traffic infraction. Tyler is alleged to have been in possession of concentrat­ed cannabis and more than 2 ounces of marijuana. He was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.

Wawarsing

• DWI: Luis A. Rosario, 43, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:33 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, and was charged with felony drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years). Rosario was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
