KINGSTON-Tammy Lynn Brown, 57, was born April 20, 1963, in Kingston, N.Y. She was called home to be with the Lord March 11, 2021. Tammy was a faithful member of St. Mark’s AME Chapel, where she served as an usher, and worked with the youth programs. Tammy was a graduate of Kingston High School. One of her joys was to help children with special needs and doing childcare. She enjoyed going to penny socials and playing bingo. But her greatest joy was spending time with her nine grandchild­ren. You could always nd Tammy with one or all of them. Tammy was predecease­d by her grandparen­ts, Warren Brown, Sr. and Gladys Brown, her stepfather, Kenneth Boisvert, two uncles, Warren Brown, Jr., and Ronald Brown all of Kingston, N.Y. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Patty Boisvert, her three daughters, Niesh Wright (Lawrence), Alida Brown, and Erica Johnson (Finance Ray Henry), one brother Darian Brown, one sister Danielle Boisvert and two aunts, Ernestine Brown, and Sherry Brown. Tammy was blessed with nine grandchild­ren, one great-granddaugh­ter, three Godchildre­n and a spiritual daughter, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral arrangemen­ts are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 to 1 p.m. A Home Going service will take place at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Face coverings are required and social distancing may limit the capacity of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
