Kingston boys fall to Crusaders, 17-46; undermanned Tiger girls lose 15-50
LAKE KATRINE, N.Y. » MonroeWoodbury swept Kingston High in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Conference cross country meet Tuesday, April 6.
The Crusaders won the boys meet, 17-46, and the girls, 15-50. The Kingston girls had an incomplete team, fielding only three runners.
Tyler Anderson and Mia Sisilli took individual honors for Monroe on the 2.6-mile course. Anderson won with a time of 14:24.5. Sisilli, a sophomore, was first in 18:10.
Elizabeth Ingellis of Kingston placed second in the girls race with an 18:30 clocking. Katherine Toolan was 10th for the Tigers in 20:48.
Luca Maneri had the top showing for the Tiger boys, finishing fourth in 15:12. Teammate Maurice Castellanos was 11th overall in 17:27.
Kingston is back in action on Thursday, April 8, with a 4:30 p.m. OCIAA meet at Middletown. Next week, the Tigers travel to Newburgh Free Academy for a meet on Tuesday, April 13.
