AUDREY E. WATERS

KINGSTON- Audrey E. Waters, 81, of Kingston, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Health Alliance Hospital - Broadway Campus in Kingston. She was born Sept. 2, 1939 in Kingston, daughter of the late Gilbert Greenidge and Weonta Fitzgerald. Audrey was married to Rev. James C. Waters who passed away on Oct. 8, 2004. She was a dedicated First Lady of St. Marks AME Zion Church, where her husband Rev. James C. Waters was Pastor. She lived with a strong faith in the Lord and always shared that faith with those around her. Audrey was a Kingston High School Graduate. She owned and operated Home Health Care & Companion Agency, Inc. in Kingston for over 40 years. She enjoyed tending to her owers and gardens and loved reading and a good cup of tea. Audrey is survived by her children, Ellen (Ricki) Powell of Port Ewen, N.Y., and William (Michelle) Boone of Port Ewen, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and her siblings, George Greenidge, Elizabeth Montgomery, and India Wilson. She was an amazing grandmother and loved her family, community, and helping people through her home care business.
