Catskill • Contempt:

Scott O. Myers, 67, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:03 p.m. Friday, April 16, in the town of Durham, and was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of criminal contempt (disobeying a court order), which are alleged to have been committed in the village of Catskill on Friday at 11:32 a.m. Myers is alleged to a have violated a court order of protection. Further informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.

Town of Kingston

• Grand larceny: Edward Polesovsky, 31, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:32 p.m. Friday, April 16, and was charged with grand larceny (extortion) and criminal possession of stolen property (valued more than $3,000), both felonies, and with aggravated harassment (threat), a misdemeano­r, stemming from an incident reported March 25 Further informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.

Rhinebeck

• DWI: Caroline E. Spiegel, 27, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 10:03 p.m. Friday, April 16, in the village of Rhinebeck and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Spiegel was released with tickets for Rhinebeck Village Court.

Saugerties

• DWI: Amanda M. Clemens, 28, of Ziemke Farm Lane, Cohoes, was arrested by Saugerties police at 11:42 p.m. Friday, April 16, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.16 percent, both misdemeano­rs, and with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, an infraction. The arrest followed a crash on Blue Mountain Road at the Rip Van Winkle Campground, in which a Jeep driven by Clemens had struck a tree. Clemens, who had left the scene and was headed north on state Route 32, was later stopped by police on state Route 212. She was released to a third party with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.

Shawangunk

• Rape: Jeancarlos Picon, 30, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 12:20 p.m. Friday, April 16, and was charged with rape, a felony, stemming from an incident reported on April 5. He was issued an appearance ticket for Shwangunk Town Court. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Wawarsing

• DWAI-drugs: Brandon A. Foncree, 20, of Loch Sheldrake, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:57 p.m. Friday, April 16, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeano­r. Foncree was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
