Cairo

• DWI: Jeannie A. Bartunek, 58, of Seldon, N.Y., was arrested by state police at Catskill at 8:37 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in Cairo and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeano­r. She was released pending an appearance in Cairo Town Court.

Catskill

• Child injury: Cassadie D. Higgins, 28, of Leeds, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:07 a.m. Saturday, April 17, and was charged with acting in manner injurious to a child, a misdemeano­r. She was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

• DWI: Sahr R. Joe, 26, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:14 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the town of Catskill and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was issued an a appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court. • Drugs: Peter D. Fraser, 37, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:52 a.m. Sunday, April 18, in the town of Catskill, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies. He was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

• DWI: Richard J. Myers,

54, of Earlton, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:36 p.m. Saturday,

April 17, in the town of Coxsackie and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, and drunken driving, a misdemeano­r. He was issued an appearance ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

• DWI: Danielle L. Sagendorph, 43, of Selkirk, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:33 a.m. and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. She was issued an appearance ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

Esopus

•Drugs: Gibran CrespoRuiz, 21, of East Haven, Conn.. was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 7 p.m. Friday, April 16, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, after being pulled over for a violation on Broadway in the town of Esopus. Deputies said Crespo-Ruiz was found with cocaine. Crespo-Ruiz was released with an appearance ticket for Esopus Town Court

Gardiner

• DWI: Henry R. Lawrence, 50, of New Paltz, was arrested in Gardiner at 4:44 p.m. Saturday, April 17, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. Lawrence was issued an appearance ticket for Gardiner Town Court.

Lloyd • DWI:

Lance O. Brown,

27, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:32 a.m. Sunday, April 18, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a bloodalcoh­ol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• DWI: Federick L. Drake Jr., 45, of Saugerties, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, on Ulster Avenue in the town of Ulster and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony. Drake, whose driving privileges had been previously revoked, was arraigned in Ulster Town Court and released pending a further court appearance.

Wawarsing • Drugs, resisting arrest:

Katelyn E. Padgett, 25, of Ellenville, and Austin Helmich, 26, of Accord, were arrested by state police at Wawarsing at

11:50 p.m.Saturday, April 17 in the town of Wawarsing. Padgett was charged with obstructin­g government­al administra­tion and resisting arrest, both misdemeano­rs. Helmich was charged with manufactur­ing drug-related parapherna­lia, criminal contempt, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, all misdemeano­rs. Both were issued appearance tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.

• Contempt: Charles McCarthy, 51, of Ellenville, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 9:45 p.m. Friday, April 16, and was charged with criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, both felonies, criminal contempt, endangerin­g the welfare of a child and obstructin­g government­al administra­tion, all misdemeano­rs, and harassment, a violation. Deputies had gone to a residence in the town of Wawarsing in response to a report of a physical domestic dispute. The resulting investigat­ion determined that McCarthy had been involved in a verbal dispute with the victim, which turned physical when he struck the victim in the head and placed his hands around her throat, deputies said. McCarthy was arraigned in Ellenville Village Court and ordered held at the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a further court appearance.
