• DWAI: Marciea A. Prout, 44, of Cairo, was charged Sunday, April 19, at about 10:13 p.m. with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving while ability impaired by drugs, both felonies, according to state police at Coxsackie. Prout was issued an appearance ticket in the town of Cairo, police said.

Catskill

• DWI: James T. Joyce, 36, of Cairo, was charged Sunday, April 18, at about 2:21 p.m. with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, and driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r, in the town of Catskill, according to state police at Catskill. He was released without bail, police said.

• Drugs: Margaret Doctor, 62, of Cairo, was arrested at about 10:03 p.m. Sunday, April 18, and charged with manufactur­e of drug parapherna­lia and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeano­rs, according to state police at Catskill. She was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court, police said.

• Strangulat­ion: Zachary A. Acosta-Berrios, 28, of Highland, was charged Sunday, April 18, at about 7:02 p.m. with one count of stangulati­on, a felony, and one count criminal mischief, and three counts of act in a manner injurious to a child, misdemeano­rs, in the town of Lloyd, according to state police at Highland. Additional informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.
