PORT EWEN- Ann M. Loughlin, 83, of Port Ewen, N.Y., passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at home. She was born February 19, 1938 in Kingston, N.Y., daughter of the late Louis and Mae (Shaut) Valli. She was married to her husband of 44 years, John Henry Loughlin, Jr. John passed away in 2002. Ann was a parishione­r of Sacred Heart RC Church in Esopus and was a past member of the Esopus Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She took great pride in her home and flowers and loved watching birds from her sunroom visit her feeders, especially hummingbir­ds. Although Ann was housebound the last few years, she immensely enjoyed visits from her family and friends, as well as talking on the phone and communicat­ing through Facebook. She loved to cook and bake. Ann’s family would like you to remember her as a Sassy, Classy Lady. Ann is survived by her daughters, Colleen Loughlin and her husband Richard Binet, Patricia Corwin, Lynda Lewis and her husband Douglas, her grandchild­ren, Valerie Marma and her husband Chuck, Jeffrey, Evan, and Kyle Lewis, her great grandchild­ren, Logan and Leon Marma, her sisters, Carole Harris and her husband Isham, Nancy Spanfelner, Mary Glotzl and her husband Karl, and her two kittens, Princess and Penny. Ann was loved by many special friends and neighbors. In addition to her husband and parents she is predecease­d by her brother, Daniel Valli. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice and all who helped with Ann’s care over this past year. Arrangemen­ts entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, N.Y., 12466, where family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 1055 Broadway, Esopus, N.Y., 12429. Inurnment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Ewen.
