Kingston
Obstructing governmental administration: Kyle James Nichols Toscano, 26, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 9:07 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, on Flatbush Avenue and charged with the misdemeanor of obstruction of governmental administration and the violation of disorderly conduct. A. Bailey, 39, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 11:10a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, on Flatbush Avenue and charged with the felony of tampering with physical evidence (conceal/destroy), the misdemeanors of aggravated unlicensed driving (alcohol), aggravated unlicensed driving (permanently revoked license), driving while ability impaired by drugs, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, and unauthorized use of a vehicle without owner consent. Bailey was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Grand larceny: Jose Enrique Valdes, 35, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 9:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at 1Garraghan Drive and charged with grand larceny (credit card), a felony. Valdes was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Assault: Aidan F. Kiernan, 21, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at noon on Friday, Nov. 18, on Wilbur Avenue and charged with felony assault (with intent to cause physical injury). Kiernan was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Catskill
DWI: Ismahan A. Gedi, 22, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:36 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, and charged with the felony of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% (with one prior conviction) and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Gedi was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Claverack
Drugs/DWAI-drugs: Diane Collazo, 56, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Claverack at about 2 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Also arrested was Brad R. Hapeman, 49, of Hudson, who was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance; and Clarence W. Risch, 52, of Hudson, who was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. All three were released with tickets for Claverack Town Court.
Saugerties
Resisting arrest: Alex Calixto, 23, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 2:13 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, following a property damage car crash on Burt Street in the village.
Calixto, a passenger in the car, refused to comply and was verbally threatening toward officers, authorities said. He eventually shoved one of the officers who was attempting to calm him down. Calixto then exposed himself while in the street and began urinating on the ground. When officers attempted to take Calixto into custody, Calixto fought with the officers, resisting their efforts to arrest him before being taken into custody. He was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and with harassment and exposure of a person, both violations. He was released with tickets for Saugerties Village Court.
