City Of Kingston
DWI: Sunday M. Wright, 32, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:12a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeanors. Wright was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
Burglary/endangering: Troy R. Valentine, 53, of Saugerties, and James E. O’Donnell, 39, of Mount Marion, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:43p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22. Each was charged with burglary, a felony, and with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Both were released with tickets for Cairo Town Court. Further information was not immediately available.
Lloyd
Drugs: Lamont Keaton, 43, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug with intent to sell) and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug), all felonies. Keaton was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance.
New Paltz
DWI: An 18-year-old from New Paltz was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:25a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeanors. State police do not release the names of defendants under the age of 19 or the gender of any defendants.
Plattekill
Drugs: Garrett D. Prantil, 21, of Highland, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, after he fled an accident on Tuckers Corner Road, authorities said. Prantil was with lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and psilocybin mushrooms and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Prantil was released with tickets for Plattekill Town Court. Drugs/weapon: Bryant L. King, 27, of Plainfield, N.J., was arrested by state police at Highland at noon. Monday, Nov. 21, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug), criminal possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogen with intent to sell), criminal possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogen) and criminal possession of a weapon (loaded firearm), all felonies. King was released with tickets for Plattekill Town Court.
Woodstock
DWI: Kito G. Sosnowitz, 26, of Boiceville, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at about 2:40p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, following a vehicle crash near Wittenburgh Road. Deputies said Sosnowitz was driving while intoxicated when his vehicle went off the roadway, struck a tree and then returned to the road before stopping near 271 Wittenberg. He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated (previous conviction) and released with a ticket for Woodstock Town Court.
