The Audi RS3 satisfies consumer wants and needs

When it comes to performance, the RS3 is a great option

With automobile pricing at all-time highs, consumers have to think long and hard about transportation compared to wants and needs.

In Grasso’s Garage this week, Audi covers it all with its RS3. Not only is it a commuter-perfect sedan, but with that extra pep in the step from the 2.5-liter five-cylinder inline turbocharged engine, this sedan is more appealing and fun than it looks. At 401 horsepower and 369-lb-ft of torque, the five-seater sedan went from zero to 60 in 3.8 seconds and topped out at 155 mph.

Paired with a sevenspeed S-tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters, the RS3 is all business. Its allwheel drive drivetrain was smooth and effortless as the RS3 soared into quick speeds around town, on the highway and everything in between. Its sports car status exemplifies the exterior and interior over its sister model, the A3. A raspy exhaust, 19-inch Y-spoke design wheels and blackedout badging and roof make it a real looker on the road. Our tester came with the ever-popular for 2022 Kemora Gray paint. It was awesome and really looked good on the RS-3 with black accents.

Heads-up display, all the technology that you can imagine, while still being user-friendly, safety features galore and comfort are what really stood out for us on our week-long tester. These additional features as mentioned came to a total of $3,750 extra but were well worth it. This included the RS technology package, the RS sport exhaust, and the Black optic plus packages.

For Grasso’s Garage, we really have a sweet spot for performance. Audi manufactures not only performance-grade vehicles, but adds comfort, style and rightly-priced automobiles for consumers to enjoy. When it comes to consumers, it wants to satisfy both their want and their need list. Well, here is the reality: You want and need this in your fleet. Whether a commuter or local driver, you can enjoy a decent fuel mileage vehicle, while having great style and value. Audi, I’m impressed and the color is awesome!
