City Of Kingston

• DWI: Ronald Burns, 19, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:46 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Burns was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

• Assault: James I. Hasbrouck, 31, of Port Ewen, an inmate at the Ulster County Jail, 380Bouleva­rd, Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 8:30p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, and was charged with assault, a felony. Deputies said Hasbrouck assaulted another inmate, who required treatment by medical staff at the scene for his injuries. Hasbrouck, who is incarcerat­ed at the Ulster County Jail on an unrelated charge, is set to appear in Kingston City Court for arraignmen­t at a later date.

• Assault: John K. Meade, 24 of

Ulster Park, an inmate at the Ulster County Jail, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with felony assault after a Nov. 24 fight with another inmate at the jail, 380Bouleva­rd, Kingston. Deputies said they responded to the jail at 10 p.m. that evening following a report of a fight between two inmates, and determined that Meade had physically assaulted another male inmate, who was treated at the scene for his injuries. Meade, who is being held at the jail on an unrelated charge, is set to be arraigned in Kingston City Court at a later date.

Esopus

• Assault: Alkebulan Ladson, 31, of Eddyville, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, on New Salem

Road in Esopus and was charged with assault, a misdemeano­r. Deputies said they responded to a complaint from a victim that Ladson kicked the victim down a flight of stairs. Authoritie­s said the victim was taken to HealthAlli­ance Hospital in Kingston for evaluation and treatment. Ladson was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court. An order of protection was issued on behalf the victim.

Hurley

• Contempt: Richard P. Tierney,

59, of Hurley was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 4:35 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, on state Route 28and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeano­r. Deputies said they responded to a home to serve an “extreme risk” order of protection, and while serving the order observed Tierney to be with a female who was protected from him by a “stay away” order of protection. Tierney was arraigned in Hurley Town Court and released with tickets to return to court at a later date.

Marlboroug­h

• Contempt/theft: Brandon C. Mack, 25, of Highland, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 4:19p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, and was charged with criminal contempt and petit larceny, both misdemeano­rs. Deputies said they responded a reported larceny at a home and determined that Mack had stolen $400from a victim, who was a protected party under an order of protection issued by Ulster County Family Court. Authoritie­s said they later located Mack at a home in Highland, where he was arrested and arraigned in Lloyd Town Court. He was later released with appearance tickets to return to Lloyd Town Court.

Wawarsing

• DWI: Steven A. Desilva, 52, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:55 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, and was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeano­r. Desilva was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
