• The Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St., Rosendale, will screen the 2017 film “Kong: Skull Island” at 3 p.m on Dec. 30. A team of scientists, explorers and soldiers arrive on an uncharted island dominated by prehistori­c animal life where Kong is King. The journey soon turns into a fight for survival to escape a world where death is around every corner. Tickets are $10, $6 for members and those in costume. • Lifespring: Saugerties Adult Learning Community’s Winter 2023 programmin­g, includes presentati­ons on Wednesdays, Jan. 4and March 1, as well as a minicourse series on Feb. 1 and 8.
