Assault/weapon/obstruction of breathing: Isaac D. Cruz, 23, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday, May 20, and charged with assault, menacing, criminal mischief, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation, all misdemeanors. following a domestic dispute in the town. Cruz was arraigned in Lloyd Town Court and released with an appearance ticket for Tuesday, June 13.
DWI: Herbert L. Rawlison, 54, of Newburgh, was arrested by Lloyd police on Sunday, May 21, and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after his vehicle was stopped for traffic violations on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55, police said. Rawlison was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
DWI: Dennis W. Bernzott, 21, of Esopus, was arrested by Lloyd police on Wednesday, May 17, on U.S. Route 9W and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and traffic violations. Bernzott was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz
DWI: Jake T. Elmendorf, 23, of Pearl River, N.Y., was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, May 21, on the state Thruway and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and driving while intoxicated. Elmendorf was released with tickets for New Paltz Court.
Town Of Ulster
DWI: Claudio P. PichizacaZumba, 30, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:51a.m. Monday, May 22, on the state Thruway and charged with the felonies of driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08%, both with previous convictions within 10 years. PichizacaZumba was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
Contraband in prison: Samantha L. Myers, 34, of Rochester, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, May 21, and charged with the misdemeanor of introducing contraband into prison. Myers was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
