Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report
The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Any person(s) charged with an offense or offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Kerhonkson
• Weapon/stolen property/DWI: Antonio Medina, 24, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, and charged with the felonies of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property, and the misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated. Deputies responded to the area of 5272 state Route 44/U.S. Route 55 following a property damage crash and said Medina was intoxicated and was in possession of a handgun without a pistol permit. The pistol had been reported to Kingston police as stolen. Medina was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail and released on Dec. 28, 2023, after posting bail.
Lloyd
• Drugs: Timothy R. Beamon Jr., 34, of Newburgh, was arrested by Lloyd police on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, and charged with the felony of criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts). Beamon was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail and was due back in Lloyd Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 4.
• DWI: Jose L. Codero,
36, of Woodstock, was arrested by Lloyd police on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, after a traffic stop on U.S. Route 9W in Highland and charged with the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed driving. Codero was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 18.
• DWI: Kathleen P. Leenig, 45, of Philadelphia, was arrested by Lloyd police on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, following a three-car personal injury car crash on U.S. Route 9W at Grand Street in Highland. Leenig was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and was released with a ticket for Lloyd
Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 11.
• Criminal mischief/ obstruction of governmental administration: Armand J. Ector, 44, of Kingston, was arrested by Lloyd police on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, and charged with the misdemeanors of criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration. Ector was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 4.
• Grand larceny: Jordan
Coffee, 23, of Kingston, was arrested by Lloyd police on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, on an arrest warrant for felony grand larceny. Coffee was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 18.
Saugerties
• Assault/weapon:
Isaias G. Guerra, 35, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 3:42 a.m. Sunday, Dec.
24, 2023, following a complaint of a dispute on Market Street in the village. Guera was charged with felony assault and the misdemeanors of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. Guerra was released with tickets for Saugerties Village Court.
• DWI: Vincent P. Falcone, 24, of Pine Bush, was arrested by Saugerties police on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at 12:11 a.m. following a complaint of a motor vehicle crash on Stephen Drive. Falcone was charged with the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
• Obstructing governmental administration: Julie A. Kogut, 44, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 6:32 a.m. Monday, Dec.
25, 2023, on U.S. Route 9W in the hamlet of West Camp. Kogut was charged with obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor, and released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
• DWI: Elizabeth A. Record, 32, of Hunter, was arrested by Saugerties police at 5:16p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, on state Route 32 and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Record was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Wawarsing
• DWI/drugs: Christopher Klein, 35, of Youngsville, and Marvin Washington,
62, of Ellenville, were arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. Klein was charged with the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance (buprenorphine). Washington, a passenger in the vehicle Klein was driving, was arrested on an active warrant from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office. Washington was also found in possession of cocaine and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Klein and Washington were released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court and Washington was turned over to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office relative to their outstanding warrant.
