Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report
The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Any person(s) charged with an offense or offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
CATSKILL Drugs:
John Joyce, 30, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:54 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, and charged with bail jumping and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors. Joyce was released on cash bail.
HUNTER DWI:
Takiya Mitchell, 43, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeanors. Mitchell was released with a ticket for Hunter Town Court.
MARLBOROUGH
DWI: Shawn M. Smith, 36, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:19 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Smith was released to a third party.
SAUGERTIES
Assault: Isaiah Jamel Carr-Hinds, 28, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. Carr-Hinds was released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
TOWN OF ULSTER Grand larceny:
Brandon D. Mackey, 30, of Marlboro, was arrested by state police at Ulster at
1:13 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, and charged with grand larceny (property value over $3,000) and possession of a forged instrument, both felonies. Mackey was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
