Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report
The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Any person(s) charged with an offense or offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Kingston Criminal possession of a weapon:
Damont Daonn Drayton, 24, address not provided, was arrested on Wall Street by Kingston police at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. Drayton was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Criminal obstruction of breathing/assault:
Jeremy Joseph Weiss, 33, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 9:50p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, on Hudson Street and charged with the misdemeanors of assault, criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing. Weiss was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Town of Ulster Criminal contempt/ endangering:
Destini Creamer, 24, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:26 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.
7, and charged with the misdemeanors of criminal contempt of a court order, acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17 and criminal mischief (intent to damage property). Creamer was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. DWI: Karissa Marie Sullivan, 32, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:22p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and driving while intoxicated. Sullivan was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
Catskill DWI:
Douglas G. Shoemaker, 53, of Palenville, was arrested by state police at Catskill in the town at 7:51p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, and charged with the felony of aggravated unlicensed operation and the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and driving while intoxicated. Shoemaker was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
