Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report
The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Any person(s) charged with an offense or offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Kingston
Forged instrument: Dylan Sean Mackenzie, 29, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, and charged with felony possession of a forged instrument and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mackenzie was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Drugs/false personation:
Jaidus E. Rowe, 39, address not provided, was arrested at 12:51 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, by Kingston police at Yosman Tower, 295 Broadway, and charged with the misdemeanors of false personation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Rowe was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail.
Catskill
DWI: Nathanael R. Quinlan, 26, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, and charged with the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%. Quinlan was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
TOWN OF KINGSTON
DWI: William S. Staccio, 54, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:20 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, and charged with the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated (blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.18%). Staccio was released with tickets for Kingston Town Court.
Rosendale
DWI: Lawrence Brown, 30, of Rosendale, was arrested by Rosendale police on Saturday, Feb. 10, after he was seen allegedly driving an unregistered all-terrain vehicle on Springtown Road and failing to comply with officers. After being stopped, police found that Brown was intoxicated. They charged him with the felony of aggravated unlicensed driving, the misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated, refusing a breath test, reckless driving (ATV) and unlawfully fleeing a police officer, and with the violations of speeding, and failure to stop at stop sign (two counts). Brown was released from Ulster County Jail by court order with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
Criminal contempt/ bribing a witness:
Austin Brewer, 27, of Freehold, was arrested by Rosendale police on Friday, Feb. 9, on an outstanding warrant. He was additionally charged with the felonies of bribing a witness and criminal contempt (two counts) and with the misdemeanor of aggravated harassment (two counts).
All charges were based upon other incidents and cases, police said. Brewer was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail.
Saugerties
Obstruction of breathing: Mario A. Mazariego, 45, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police on Saturday, Feb. 10, and charged with the misdemeanors of criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief. Mazariego was released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
DWI: Andre R. Whittle, 33, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police on Friday, Feb. 9, at 9:20 p.m. on Market Street and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired (drugs) and aggravated unlicensed driving, all misdemeanors. Whittle’s arrest followed a traffic stop, authorities said. Whittle was released with tickets for Saugerties Village Court.
