Rebuilding Together expands, rebrands
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. >> The local organization Rebuilding Together Dutchess County has expanded into Ulster County, rebranding as Rebuilding Together Hudson Valley, according to a statement released by the organization on Thursday, Feb. 22.
The non-profit organization, founded in 1992, aids homeowners in need by providing free home repairs. The organization, coupled with 400 volunteers, completes around 20 projects per year.
The organization will continue to operate and provide services in Dutchess County, while also extending support to those in need in Ulster County.
“We extend our greatest appreciation to our community members, municipal and business leadership, families and friends, for joining our efforts in ensuring a positive impact this upcoming year,” Darcy McCourt, the organization’s executive director, said in a prepared statement. “Together, we will build a safer, healthier, and more resilient community for all.”
