Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report
The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. Any person(s) charged with an offense or offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
KINGSTON
Drugs: Olivia Ann Cavallaro, 28, of Port Ewen, and David A. Brown, 33, of Kingston, were arrested by state police at Ulster on Thursday, March 7 at 7:03 p.m. Cavallaro was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and Brown was charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Cavallaro and Brown were released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Aggravated family offense/criminal contempt:
Machel Rhon Walker, 46, address not provided, was arrested at Ulster County Family Court by Kingston police at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, and charged with the felonies of aggravated family offense and criminal contempt of an order of protection, and with misdemeanor criminal contempt of a court order. Walker was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail.
CATSKILL
Criminal contempt:
Nathan R. Shook, 31, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, March 7, and charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt of a court order. Shook was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
NEW PALTZ DWI:
Jamie L. Avila, 33, of Milton, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:38 a.m. Friday, March 8, in the village, and was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Avila was released with a ticket for New Paltz Court.
