Gun, jewelry taken from South Coventry home
SOUTHCOVENTRY» A handgun and jewelry was stolen during a burglary sometime between 5 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on Nov. 1 at a home in the 1000 block of Favinger Road, according to state police.
Police said a brown Harrington & Richardson .22-caliber handgun was stolen after someone forced their way into the home through a basement door. Assorted jewelry and miscellaneous items were also stolen during the burglary, police said.

Cora Vanessa MartinezThomas, of Coatesville, was arrested for DUI and drug possession following a traffic stop around 10:55 a.m. on Oct. 7 on Strasburg Road near Creek Road, according to state police.
East Whiteland
Farren Maureen Sweeney, 25, of Coatesville, was arrested for DUI after she was contacted by police around 6:35 a.m. on Oct. 26 on Route 202 south of Route 401, according to state police.
Lower Oxford
Dakota Robert Hunter, 18, of Lancaster County, was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly stole a hunting item valued around $22 from the Walmart store on Nov. 1 in the 800 block of Commons Drive, according to state police.
Newlin
State police are investigating after someone stole four pieces of split-rail fencing and two 14-foot metal gates from the Cheslen Preserve sometime between Oct. 25 and Oct. 27 in the 1100 block of Cannery Road.
