Vincent Joseph Gazzillo of Coatesville
Vincent Joseph Gazzillo, 77, of Coatesville, Pa. and formerly of Phoenixville, Pa., entered into his eternal place of rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Charles Angelo and Angelina (Foresta) Gazzillo.
Vincent was a life member of Saint Joseph’s in the Hills, Malvern, Pa. His greatest love was visiting the Retreat House. As a 25 year Retreatant, he was just recently awarded the John J. Ferrick founder award as the long time beneficiary. Unlimited contributions were made the in the name of his deceased parents.
His lifelong support and extensive philanthropy on behalf of Catholic and other charitable organizations that served those in need was his greatest passion.
He was also a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Company B in Phoenixville.
He is survived by his brother, Paschal and wife Carol (Bitler) Gazzillo of Phoenixville; nieces and nephew: Kim wife of John Holbrook of Birdsboro, Pa.; Lynne wife of Carmen Bozzelli of Spring City, Pa.; Sally Gazzillo of Phoenixville and Paschal C. Gazzillo Jr. of Phoenixville; and greatnieces and nephew: Natalie Bozzelli, Carmen A. Bozzelli and Steven Charles Holbrook.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville on Monday, May 11 at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville.
Relatives and Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Malvern Retreat House, PO Box 315, Malvern, PA 19355.
