Vincent Joseph Gazzillo of Coatesvill­e

Vincent Joseph Gazzillo, 77, of Coatesvill­e, Pa. and formerly of Phoenixvil­le, Pa., entered into his eternal place of rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.

Born in Phoenixvil­le, he was the son of the late Charles Angelo and Angelina (Foresta) Gazzillo.

Vincent was a life member of Saint Joseph’s in the Hills, Malvern, Pa. His greatest love was visiting the Retreat House. As a 25 year Retreatant, he was just recently awarded the John J. Ferrick founder award as the long time beneficiar­y. Unlimited contributi­ons were made the in the name of his deceased parents.

His lifelong support and extensive philanthro­py on behalf of Catholic and other charitable organizati­ons that served those in need was his greatest passion.

He was also a member of the Pennsylvan­ia National Guard, Company B in Phoenixvil­le.

He is survived by his brother, Paschal and wife Carol (Bitler) Gazzillo of Phoenixvil­le; nieces and nephew: Kim wife of John Holbrook of Birdsboro, Pa.; Lynne wife of Carmen Bozzelli of Spring City, Pa.; Sally Gazzillo of Phoenixvil­le and Paschal C. Gazzillo Jr. of Phoenixvil­le; and greatniece­s and nephew: Natalie Bozzelli, Carmen A. Bozzelli and Steven Charles Holbrook.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixvil­le on Monday, May 11 at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixvil­le.

Relatives and Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributi­ons be made to Malvern Retreat House, PO Box 315, Malvern, PA 19355.
