D’Ambrosio Auto Group wins Chrysler’s top award
The Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group has again been given the Walter P. Chrysler Club Award, Chrysler’s highest recognition for overall sales and service performance.
“It makes me feel proud of the company and my employees, that they are dedicated to giving a nice, friendly, fast and simple buying and service experience,” D’Ambrosio said. “I’m extremely happy that our philosophy for more than 30 years is still holding true. This is a difficult award to get.”
According to D’Ambrosio, the honor is presented based on customer surveys, and that the company, which opened in 1983, has the highest customer loyalty rating in the Mid-Atlantic. That includes some who have been there since the beginning.
“We have customers that have bought more than 15 cars,” he said. “About 27 percent or so are multi purchases.”
In 2014 the dealership boasted a strong sales and service year.
“We sold a tremendous amount of volume and serviced a tremendous amount of vehicles,” said D’Ambrosio. “It was a terrific year.”
The dealership, located at 1221 East Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown, has more than 140 employees including more than 30 sales personnel. D’Ambrosio said they are selling Chrysler vehicles including the highly-rated Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Ram.
“The products are extremely attractive vehicles functionally and in gas mileage,” he explained.
D’Ambrosio also said that customer service remains a top priority.
“Besides the product and styling changes, we can take better care of the customer because credit is easier and Chrysler has its own financial arm again,” he said. “Everything is in place to take care of the customer.”
