Great Valley’s Adira Nair and Victoria Powers defeated teammtes Sadie Buzan and Vernika Saini to win the Ches-Mont League American Division Doubles title on Saturday.

Nair and Powers won, 6-2, 6-3.

CENTRAL LEAGUE DOUBLES

>> Maddie Wood and Ashley Griffin captured the Central League championsh­ip after teammates Amy Zheng and Julie Herman retired in the second set.

BISHOP SHANAHAN 0 >> Ashlyn Kearney and Kendall Ammerman scored as the Golden Knights (10-1, 132) captured the Ches-Mont victory. Julie Grisemer and Jenna Moser combined for six saves in Rustin’s 10th shutout of the season.

VILLA MARIA 4, POPE JOHN PAUL II 0 >> The Hurricance­s (8-8) received goals from four different players to capture the nonleague match. Ryan O’Rourke, Marissa DiGenova, Jules Bradbury and Sarah Goldblum all scored. Beth Eversman and Emily Gillen were standouts on defense as well as midfielder Tori Kent. Bradbury, Sid Reid and Audrey Fantazzia added assists.

Boys Soccer

GREAT VALLEY 0, CONESTOGA 0 >> The Patriots (8-62) and the Pioneers (15-01) played to the nonleague scoreless draw. David Nehring made eight saves for Great Valley. The back line of Jameson Sarr, Luke Wilson and Ryan Craig played well.

Field Hockey

WEST CHESTER EAST 3, GARNET VALLEY 1 >> Gemma Defoe scored twice to help the Vikings to the nonleague victory. Kelly Conlon had the other goal and tacked on a pair of assists.

OXfORD 3, OCTORARA 0 >> Katie Dodson tallied twice and Rachel Hannum added a goal as the Hornets posted the Ches-Mont victory.

Girls Tennis

OCTORARA 7, OXfORD 0 >> The Braves dropped just one game in three singles matches to win the ChesMont contest and finish the season 4-9 and 6-11 overall.

Volleyball

DOWNINGTOW­N EAST 3, MOUNT ST. JOSEPH’S 2 >> Jasmime Ferrence had 17 kills, 20 digs and an ace as the Cougars held off Mount St. Joseph’s in five sets (2515, 17-25, 25-15, 15-25, 1511). Shannon Frank had 17 kills and 13 digs while Kelly Cherry had 21 digs and four assists in the win.

DOWNINGTOW­N EAST 3,

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 1 >> Jasmine Ferrence had 23 kills and 15 digs as the Cougars (14-1) defeated Council Rock North in four sets (25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 25-15). Shannon Frank had 13 kills, six digs and an ace and Grace Allen had eight kills, two aces and three blocks. OCTORARA 3, OXfORD 2 >> The Braves held on to capture the Ches-Mont match, 25-15, 25-15, 22-25, 19-25, 1510. Logan Wolfe had eight kills and three blocks for the Hornets (2-13). Taylor Jones had 14 assists and six kills and Lizzy Robinson had 26 digs.

MALVERN PREP 10, PENNINGTON­6>> Stephen Salle had four goals and two assists to lead the Friars (15-3) to the nonleague victory. Tait McGlinn scored 3 goals and 2 assists, while Isaac Salinas added two goals and two assists. The defense was led by Salinas’s six steals and 11 saves from goalkeeper Rory Allen.

College Volleyball

WEST CHESTER 3, SLIPPERY ROCK 0 >> Molly Grammer had 20 kills as the Golden Rams (7-6 PSAC, 19-6) swept Slippery Rock (25-18, 25-18, 25-21). Jillian Grammer had 41 assists in the win. Victoria Cruciani added eight kills with three blocks.

The Golden Rams fell in their earlier match against Edinboro (10-1, 20-1) in three sets (25-13, 25-22, 2515).

Five different Golden Rams scored as second ranked West Chester field hockey shutout host Mansfield 5-0 in Pennsylvan­ia State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action Saturday afternoon at Karl Van Norman Field.

IMMACULATA 3, CENTENARY

0>> Gabrielle Guerrera had 10 kills and Morgan Wentz had six kills as the Mighty Macs (6-1, 11-5) defeated Centenary in three sets (259, 25-3 and 25-7).

Maranda Jones dished up 24 assists and made eight digs, while Molly Truitt also had eight digs and six assists. Arden Vizzard led Immaculata with nine digs.

Field Hockey

WEST CHESTER 5, MANSfIELD

0>> Alexis Versak, Rachal Toppi, Alayna Brown, Kristina Scherrer and Dayle Paustian ecah scored as the Golden Rams (4-3 PSAC, 13-3 overall) shutout the Mansfield.

Brianna Magner had one save in goal to earn the shutout.

Women’s Soccer

GWYNEDD-MERCY 2, IMMACULATA 1 >> Morgan McDonough scored the lone goal for the Mighty Macs (3-4-1 CSAC, 3-9-2) in the defeat. Elizabeth McBride had eight saves in goal.

Jessica Fath scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute for the GwyneddMer­cy.

Men’s Soccer

IMMACULATA 4, GWYNEDDMER­CY 1 >> Alec Schuler and Alex Noel each scored for the Mighty Macs (4-2 CSAC, 6-8) in the win.

Joe Lubonski had three saves for Immaculata.
