Guy N. Prange Sr. of Columbia, Pa., formerly of Coatesville

Guy N. Prange, Sr., 79, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Lancaster General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie E. Prange with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in E. Fallowfield Twp., Chester County, he was the son of the late Ralph and Edna Hershour Prange.

He was a resident of E. Fallowfield most of his life and a 1956 graduate of the the Unionville High School. He was co-owner and operator of Prange’s Auto Parts until his retirement. Guy enjoyed his trips to the mountains, working with Mac Trucks and most of all spending time with his family.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children; Patricia, wife of Milton Smith of Parkesburg, Bonnie K., wife of William Killian of Lopez, Pa., Terry, wife of Walter Osborn of Thorndale, Ralph R. Prange and wife Cindy of Dover, Del. and Bonnie M. Prueitt of Columbia, 18 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and one brother Ernest Prange of Parkesburg. He was preceded in death by a son Guy N. Prange, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa. with a viewing from 9:30 a.m. to the time of the service.
