Yellow Springs Farm LLC expands yogurt products
Yellow Springs Farm LLC, or YSF, a Chester Springs family farm business focused on selling artisanal goat cheeses to local communities and restaurants, announced it is now producing goat milk yogurt.
Currently the yogurt is available for purchase on the YSF website and area grocery stores, including all five Kimberton Whole Foods locations and Whole Foods Markets in Devon, Glen Mills, Plymouth Meeting, and Marlton, New Jersey.
YSF yogurts are stocked in specialty stores such as Metropolitan Bakery in Philadelphia, Dundore and Heister in Wyomissing, and at the West Chester Growers Market on Saturdays from May until Christmas.
YSF offers yogurts in four vari--
eties: plain (unsweetened), vanilla, cinnamon and hazelnut.
They are PA Preferred products. Locally produced foods arrive faster and fresher, and help directly contribute to the local economy, the company said.
“We are pleased to introduce goat’s milk yogurt in addition to our award winning cheeses,” said Catherine Renzi, co-owner of Yellow Springs Farm. “We are excited to roll-out our yogurt products, which are created with our own original recipes and produced on our farm,” Renzi added.
