Elizabeth D. ‘Bette’ Jones of Westtown

Elizabeth D. “Bette” Jones, 80, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit, surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of Marshall L. Jones, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Born in St. Michael’s, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Dryden Riedy.

Bette was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church for more than 57 years.

She lived her entire married life on Maple Shade Farm where she raised her family.

In addition to her husband, Bette is survived by her children, Robert and his wife, Kristy, Barbara Jones Menkins, Deborah Starks and her husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Melissa Zimmerman (Brian), Erin Patton (Lenny), Shannon Del Grande (Michael), Jennalee Gillam (Michael), Robby Jones, Hayley Menkins, Kevin Starks, Jr., Grace Jones, Ryan Starks; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Montagna.

She was predeceased by sisters, Jane Hash and Miney Mooney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 4 Westtown Road, Thornton, PA 19373, where the family will receive guests starting at 9 a.m.

Interment will follow in the churchyard.
