Vincent M. Carlino of Malvern
Vincent M. Carlino, age 86 of Malvern, PA died on October 4, 2016. Vince was born on January 3, 1930 in Casoli (Chieti), Italy to the late Antonio and Maria Spinelli Carlino. He was the brother of the late Nicola, Filippo, Angelina and Anna Carlino.
Vince is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 62 years Lena Passarelli Carlino. Vince is also survived by his beloved daughters Josephine Carlino Moore (the late Peter Moore), Mary Lee Carlino Spada (Alexander), and Lisa Carlino McDonald (Paul).
Vince was the proud and devoted “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren Kimberly Spada, Kelly Moore Gompers (Michael), Allison Spada Schryver (Martin), Benjamin Vincent McDonald and Zachary McDonald and great grandchildren Michael Gompers Jr., Jackson Gompers and Cassidy Schryver.
Vince worked for the railroad for 42 years retiring from Septa in 1990. He was a long time resident of Malvern, PA and a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. Vince loved gardening, Philly sports and traveling to Italy but his greatest love was spending time with his adoring wife and loving family.
Relatives and friends are invited to Vince’s Visitation on Friday, October 7 from 10:30 to 12:30 at Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave, Malvern PA 19355 followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave, Malvern PA 19355. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, 1050 Pottstown Pike, West Chester PA 19380.
