Alessio Ciaffoni of West Chester

Alessio Ciaffoni, 87, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Harrison Senior Living of Christiana in Christiana, PA.

He was the husband of Grace Ianni Ciaffoni.

Born February 1, 1929 in Roiano, Italy, he was the son of the late Bernardo Ciaffoni and the late Santa Cipretti Ciaffoni.

Alessio immigrated to the USA in December of 1955.

He was a member of St. Agnes Church and Good Will Fire Company, both of West Chester.

Alessio worked in Downingtown at Gindy Trailor Company and Bud Company Trailer Division. After his retirement, he went on to work as a custodian at Hillsdale Elementary School in West Chester.

He was famous for his vegetable garden.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rita Ciaffoni of Downingtown, Anthony Ciaffoni (Philip Tremo) of West Palm Beach, FL, and Theresa Brewer (Chuck) of West Chester; grandchildren, Stephen and Danielle Alvisi and Matthew and Aiden Brewer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 9:00-10:00 am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
