Christine Anne Funderwhit­e, 45, passed away on Saturday April 29th, 2017, in Englewood, Florida.

Christine was born on July 17th, 1971 in Chester County, Pennsylvan­ia, where she lived nearly her entire life. She attended Kimberton Farm School, Lionville Junior High School, and Owen J. Roberts High School, and later attended The Restaurant School in Philadelph­ia.

Christine spent a number of years in the restaurant industry, and later pursued her own catering business. Christine always had a great love of food and cooking. She was considered by those who knew her, to be a culinary magician. Christine loved to experiment in the kitchen and play chef, and generously entertaine­d friends and family for holiday gatherings and special occasions.

Christine was enthusiast­ic in helping her father manage the family business, Eagle Village, which was originally her grandparen­ts farm in Eagle, PA, where she spent much of her childhood growing up.

Christine immensely enjoyed the country and loved spending time at her family’s farm in Wellsboro, PA. You could always find her four-wheeling through the hills, floating down a creek on an inner tube, spotting deer and feeding the wildlife.

Only recently, Christine moved to Florida with her husband, Jack. She loved spending time at the beach collecting shells and bird watching. Spending time on the water, boating and fishing were also things Christine enjoyed doing.

Christine had a friendly and generous spirit, always willing to lend a hand or offer a kind word to others. She had a witty sense of humor, an optimistic outlook, a heartfelt smile, and a zest for living a full and happy life. She was funloving and always ready for a good time or new adventure. One of Christine’s greatest attributes was her intuitive sense of nurturing. She was a natural at care giving, and had the thoughtful ability to look after the well-being of those she cared about. Christine was a beautiful soul with a big heart. She will be sincerely missed by many who were lucky enough to share in her life.

Christine is survived by her husband, Jack Donnelly, daughter, Lauren Allen, mother, Dorothy Ruhl, and sister, Dorothy Funderwhit­e.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Funderwhit­e.

A memorial service will be held for Christine on Saturday, June 10th at the Windsor Baptist Church in Eagle, PA. Visitation - 10:00 AM, Service - 11:00 AM.
